Precautions For Refitting Stickers

- Mar 24, 2021-

On the street, more and more car owners use different methods to dress up their cars. Among them, body stickers are the easiest and cheapest method. They can immediately modify a unique car according to their own preferences. Perhaps many people are yearning for high performance, and many of my friends have chosen fashionable modified brands to add a fighting atmosphere to their cars. Today, let’s talk about some precautions about refitting stickers.

Modified car stickers are a more troublesome thing. Small stickers also have a lot of knowledge. It is a little careless. It is not a big problem. It is not a big problem, but the money is spent in vain and the professional appearance is lost. The image is indeed a little embarrassing, and it is not worth it.

◆ The brand has its own affiliation, avoid crossing

Once, one sticker was shared across China, which was "Fujiwara Tofu Shop (for own use)". Now, everyone’s life is richer and the “brands” are also enriched. The streets are not just cars from “tofu shop”. Many car owners put exclusive modified brand stickers on their cars to enhance their image.

Everyone knows that Fit belongs to Honda, and TRD stands for TOYOTA RACING DEVELOPMENT (literally translated as "Toyota Racing Development"). It is Toyota's refit brand, which is obviously not suitable for Fit. In fact, there are many choices for Honda's stickers. Mugen, J's Racing, and Spoon are all Honda's royal modified brands. In this case, the owner took the effort to install the Fit local version of the RS surround, the style is sporty, and the appearance is more impactful than the original factory, even if the sticker is not needed, the effect is quite good.

Of course, many brands are aimed at specific models or car brands. If you blindly follow the trend just by looking at it, it will also cause misunderstanding. This is a Toyota RAV4 that I discovered during the Chinese New Year. I originally thought it was only Honda Boai and adopted TRD. I didn't expect Toyota to also release a high-performance TypeR version. Next to the huge "bull head logo" in front of this car is the badge of Honda's high-performance series TypeR. Although we are discussing stickers here, let's grab it and share this counterexample. Friends, you may like TypeR very much, but after all, TypeR does not belong to your car, so give it back to Honda.

The earliest behavior of putting a performance brand on the car body originated from the sponsor's pattern in the car. Later, inspired by the manufacturer of the modified parts, it gradually evolved into buying modified parts of the brand, and related stickers or body logos would be given away. This logo is affixed to the body, the brand is advertised, and a set of stickers on the body is like a modification list. This may be the original intention of the body stickers. Later it gradually evolved into a variety of different types.

◆ Identify the corresponding brand

All you need to find is the correct brand, you can rest assured! Not only are Japanese cars like that, but European cars that pay attention to imperial modification are even better. They have strict requirements on the door. European modified brands basically correspond to car brands, so they are easier to identify. In addition, many European brands also tend to use metal badges instead of stickers to reflect their relatively high-end positioning. However, in general, European cars rarely have mislabeling of their brands. On the contrary, they are borrowed by other brands. Perhaps it can be regarded as a yearning for a better life.

When choosing modified stickers, it is enough for Japanese and European cars to find the corresponding brands. On the contrary, American cars and Korean cars are a bit confusing, or more casual. Probably because the domestic overall understanding of the modification information of the United States and South Korea is still relatively weak, and many domestic cars with American brands are also European versions, so there does not seem to be a particularly targeted approach or brand in this regard. Instead, automakers have actively introduced different vehicle body patch versions based on different themes, such as the Transformers version of the Chevrolet Cruze and the WTCC (World Touring Car Championship) version.

◆ Track fever blindly follow suit

As motorsports gradually become deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, many friends put the elements of various car races on their cars. For example, the owners of Ford Focus like to post WRC (World Rally Championship for short) patterns and track maps, which means the WRC pedigree of the Focus. This trick gives the original uniform body a little freshness. But there are also many car owners who follow the trend without knowing it, and they make jokes. The most common thing is to make a mistake in the race. For example, some cars have "Dakar" on their bodies, and some off-road cars have "Nurburgring North Ring" on them.

It turned out that there are countless track car stickers on the market now, and there are everything at home and abroad. Everyone has a lot of choices. Moreover, some of these track stickers have a larger area. We do not recommend that you choose this type of large-area model that will affect the line of sight. Instead, small stickers are pasted under the front door mirror or on the fuel tank cap to embellish it, which is more interesting.
